Birdcage Scaffolding
This type of scaffolding is arguably the most common type of scaffolding that we design and erect for property developers and new build properties. Birdcage scaffolding consists of at least two rows of tubes that are transformed at every height and very well-connected. Birdcage scaffolding is used to give construction workers and tradesmen the direct access to the external property that they need to perform their relevant craft. For example, birdcage scaffolding is ideal for fire alarm installations on commercial and industrial properties that are much higher than the average domestic property.
Temporary Edge Scaffolding
If there is a high risk of falls or injury from a considerable height, temporary edge scaffolding is usually designed and erected for new build properties. Edge scaffolding should be installed on all fragile roofing materials, openings in flooring and roofs, and also around the perimeters of buildings. Temporary edge scaffolding is regularly used in places where there are obvious potential hazards such as on the roofs of new buildings where it may not be completely stable.
Stairs & Scaffolding Towers
For types of work where construction teams may require further convenient access for travelling back and forth to certain platforms, we recommend stairs and scaffolding towers. Essentially, we provide scaffolds for steps where workers can easily climb to the relevant working platform from inside of the tower using the integrated ladder access system.
